Community Comes Together to Stop Child Abuse

WHAT: “Break the Chain of Child Abuse”

WHY: Children from Cumberland County will join colorful paper chains together as a symbol to break the chains of child abuse.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• “Champion for Children” awards will be presented to one professional, one volunteer and one agency/group who have gone above and beyond to reduce child abuse in our community.

• The ceremony is a joint effort between the Child Advocacy Center, the Cumberland County Schools, the Cumberland County Department of Social Services, the Cumberland County Family Court, the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County, Fort Bragg Army Community Services, the Fort Bragg Schools, and the Cumberland County Guardian Ad Litem Program.
